How does the Merchant of Record partnership work?
When a customer buys from your store, our connected partner Merchant of Record acts as the reseller of record. They legally process the payment, calculate and collect sales taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) based on the buyer's location, and handle tax filing and seller liability. Solifyn then routes the funds directly to your dashboard.
Are there any setup fees or hidden costs?
No. There are no startup fees, monthly minimums (unless on the Pro tier which has a flat $20 monthly cost), or card layout fees. You only pay the defined subscription rate plus transaction costs.
What payment methods are supported out of the box?
We support major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment methods depending on customer location (e.g. iDEAL, Bancontact, SEPA, and regional transfers).
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?
Yes, you can change your subscription tier inside your dashboard. Fees are pro-rated and the transaction costs adjust immediately to the new tier rate.
